2007 is Liverpool's 800th Birthday!

There'll be celebrations all year to mark the occasion, along with special events on the actual day of the 800th anniversary of the charter.

Celebration organisers are keen to involve as many schools and community groups as possible, and information packs have already gone out all over the City.

Special birthday cards will be sent to people with 8th birthdays, 21st birthdays or 80th birthdays during 2007 and organisers are asking people to send in details of anyone they know with one of these birthdays coming up.
