Illuminated Xmas tree

Once Christmas is over, people in Liverpool are being urged to make sure their (real) Xmas trees are recycled.

As well as collecting trees with the usual Green Waste collection service, the City Council is organising drop off points all over the City for people to take their tree.

The drop off points, which will be open until 27th January 2008, include

  • Alderfield Drive, near Millwood

  • Calderstones Park

  • Long Lane Recreation area, Garston

  • Otterspool Promenade

  • Sefton Park
