More police for Belle Vale - Lib Dem Councillor's call

12.00.00am GMT Tue 12th Feb 2008

Police on the Beat

Lib Dem Councillor Tom Marshall says Belle Vale needs more police.

His call follows a RESPECT week in the area during which police and other organisations worked together to make a difference.

Says Tom:

"It was good to have the Week. But it's only a short term solution to a long term problem. We need more resources here in Belle Vale to tackle anti social behaviour"

"The Labour government's cut of 1.7 million pounds in the Community Safety Grant amount is a disgrace" says Tom.

Councillor Tom Marshall can be contacted at thomas.marshall@liverpool.gov.uk. Other contact details are in the Contact section or this website or are available from 0151 225 2354.
