This website is managed by members of Garston and Halewood Constituency Liberal Democrats. Garston and Halewood is a new constituency formed when the Parliamentary boundaries were changed. The next General Election will see an MP elected for Garston and Halewood rather than for the previous constituencies of Garston and Knowsley South. The boundary change does not affect the local government area you live in. Nor does it mean your current MP has changed. Simply that at the next election the constituency will be different. This website aims to provide news about the activities of the party in Garston and Halewood and about some of its representatives. It also carries some local community news to help get this to a wider audience. The site does not include large amounts of national party policy as this is available on the national site at www.libdems.org.uk. It does not include large amounts of news about Liverpool City Council or Knowsley Council as both of these have their own websites. We welcome comments from any visits to the site. You can also register with the site, and can then opt for regular news on campaigns, or for a regular e mail to tell you what new news stories and events have been added.
